The application is aimed at healthcare professionals, academicians, medical students and patients who want to make informed decisions about their medication use. It provides a platform for users to access information about how to rationally use their medicine, medication safety, efficacy, and side effects.
Applications: The application is designed to be user-friendly and accessible, with a simple interface that allows users to search for relevant medical content of their interest. The application also provides users with access to a database of medication information, which includes dosage recommendations, contraindications, and interactions with other medications. To ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information provided by the application, My Medics employs a team of experts in pharmacology and medicine. These experts review and update the information in the database regularly to ensure that it reflects the latest research and clinical guidelines.

Biography
Paul Josephat Njige was born and raised in Tanzania, where he developed a keen interest in health and technology from an early age. This passion led him to pursue a degree in pharmacy at St. John’s University of Tanzania, where he distinguished himself as a dedicated student and a natural leader. While at St. John’s University, Paul served as the Vice President of the Tanzania Pharmaceutical Students Association from 2022 to 2024. In this role, he championed initiatives to enhance the education and professional development of pharmacy students, fostering a sense of community and collaboration among peers. In his quest to improve healthcare accessibility and communication, Paul founded the MYMEDICS software application, a platform designed to connect patients with healthcare professionals efficiently. Recognizing the need for open dialogue about health issues globally, he also launched Afya Forum, an online platform dedicated to discussing health matters and sharing knowledge across borders. Paul’s innovative contributions to the field of digital health did not go unnoticed. In 2024, he was honored with the Tanzania Global Awards in the category of Best Male in Digital Innovation, a testament to his impactful work in transforming healthcare delivery through technology. Today, Paul Josephat Njige stands out as a leader in digital health innovation in Tanzania, using his education and entrepreneurial spirit to create meaningful change in the healthcare landscape. His journey continues to inspire future generations of pharmacists and health professionals committed to making a difference.
