Biography

Kenneth R. Pelletier is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California School of Medicine (UCSF) and the University of Arizona School of Medicine. He directs the Corporate Health Improvement Program (CHIP) at UCSF, collaborating with 15 Fortune 500 companies. He chairs the American Health Association (AHA) and is Vice President of American Specialty Health (ASH).

Previously, he served as Clinical Professor at the University of Arizona (2001-2016) and Stanford University (1990-2001), where he directed the Stanford Corporate Health Improvement Program (SCHIP) and the NIH-funded Complementary and Alternative Medicine Program (CAMPS). At UCSF, he held dual appointments in Medicine and Psychiatry from 1974 to 1990.

Dr. Pelletier has chaired the California Wellness Foundation and served on boards including Foundation Health Systems and the Social Venture Network. He has published over 300 professional articles and authored 15 books. He is a consultant to the US Department of Health and Human Services, WHO, and major corporations like Cisco, IBM, and Pepsico. He also serves on various boards and as a peer reviewer for leading medical journals. His work has been featured on national television programs including ABC World News, Good Morning America, and CNN. Dr. Pelletier is listed in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World.
