Session Overview

This session explores how primary care can provide continuous, preventive and coordinated health services across pregnancy, childhood and adolescence, creating a connected pathway rather than treating maternal, child and adolescent health as separate areas of care.

The session focuses on evidence that strengthens continuity of care, early identification, prevention, health promotion and timely referral across the life course. It provides a scientific platform for research on maternal health, newborn and child health, adolescent health, reproductive health, nutrition, immunisation, developmental surveillance and community-based interventions.
